why is this so perfect

OK, for peace of mind, let’s remember that “yarn” here is what we would call “thread” (video is from a Danish company, so language differences) and also convince ourselves that this cone of thread was so old it was rotten and therefore unusable (I have an ancient cone or thread like that.)
