Something I noticed was that Marty never actually referred to Sour Cream as his son, probably due to him not being able to handle the fact that he abandoned him for so long.
marty is a narcissistic, neglectful father + he set off a fuckton of warning signs for emotional abuse. he only showed up cause he legally had to give greg that cheque. he took advantage of his son’s trust, starting with talking about he wanted to make up ost time and how it’d be great, then making it all about him and calling sour cream selfish when he asked why marty wasn’t sticking to what they talked about. marty is a scumbag and he deserves the worst of drags
While I always sort of liked Victoria’s head I could never find a decent body that I felt suited her well. But after this custom paint job, I’m really falling in love all over again.

It’s your adblock software not completely blocking some ads that include autoplay content.
First off, Tumblr isn’t going to care, because Yahoo wants to make some money off this sinkhole of a site, and more and more intrusive ads are the way to do it, especially if we’re all trying to block them anyway.
However, running the site WITH adblock disabled, I could see the ads, but not mute them (pausing/muting went away if I scrolled up or down), so I’m going to say they’re being fucks anyway and don’t deserve the advertising money if they’re going to assault me with unwanted autoplay sound that I can’t stop.
Open up your ad blocker, create a custom filter for:
*.tubemogul.com*
and that should stop it. Has worked for me so far, but I literally just did this 10 minutes ago so I don’t know if it’s a complete or correct solution. If anyone’s a bigger nerd about adblock filtering or wants to dig for other sources for the autoplay ads, hit me up.
i mean girl representation is cool and all but i dont like how they treated leslie jones’ character…only helpful for street smarts. they continue to do black characters dirty and its why i cant get behind the new ghostbusters (or any ghostbusters for that matter i jus dont like the series).
in the trailer it was clear 2 see how the rest of them were portrayed as ‘smart’ (well their intelligence being more in line with white supremacy’s affinity to the sciences and math and all that shit) and how they contrasted leslie to the rest as simply comic relief as if she isn’t to be taken seriously because shes a darkskinned black woman. being heavily stereotyped isnt a step
towards diversity and i wish people would actually look at some valid
criticisms abt the movie because at the end of the day theres no good

Worked on the hair last night to give him a nice curly lock mohawk thingy. It turned out ok… not to bad for my first time anyways. It’s Cotswold wool, its nice and has some color variation.
Unfortunately the lower extremities may never fully cure, I didn’t realize the paint was solvent based….yeah this type of vinyl plastic and solvent paint don’t get along (thanks Disney) so I’m hoping when it’s sealed it covers the tackiness enough.
I’m not going to sand it because the dust will get on the tacky bits and also my sealer is matte so it’s not really needed. I’m going to do the detail work soon and pattern his outfit really soon.
My goal is to have him completed by Aug 15th, that’s when I start fall semester.
Seeing him come along has been fantastic! Seriously one of the coolest and most innovative Monster High customs I’ve seen!
Small tip: cornstarch or talcum powder will stop the paint feeling so tacky and rubbing it on prevents dust from sticking.
